Dr Janet Pennington will talk about the Chanctonbury Ring, which has been an iconic landmark for over 200 years. The talk will cover an earlier ring from c750BC, with history, murder and literary outpourings.
Janet is an independent Sussex historian; her PhD is on early-modern Sussex inn and tavern history.
